To improve control over our monitoring and measuring devises, we have set up a standards room with modern equipments such as: - CMM (Co-ordinate measuring machine)- Brown & Sharpe – 1000 x 700 x 700
- Roundness tester
- Profile projector
- Roughness tester
- 2 co-ordinate height gauges
- Technoscope.

| Quality Management Systems |
Since the company pre-dominantly manufactures automotive components, a decision was taken to upgrade our quality management systems to comply with ISO-TS 16949-2002. Accordingly, the certification has been obtained in August 2004, and this has helped the company in improving efficiency of its various process significantly.

| Employee Training |
As a continuous process, competence and skill at all levels are identified and actions are taken to improve the same by providing training. Effectiveness of the training provided is mentioned. We have introduced a six sigma program at our works to bring awareness and reduce non conformity levels.

| Statistical Process Control |
As a preventive action, we have introduced process monitoring using XR and XMR charts. Adequate training has been provided to both “production” as well as ‘QA’ personnel so that the manufacturing process is monitored and timely action is taken to prevent manufacture of non conforming product. This has also helped to bring down ‘PPM’ levels and assists in improving maintenance objectives. |
